Production & Delivery time:

Orders for Custom Draperies or Custom Bedding usually take between 8 and 12 weeks to process from the date the order is placed to the date it is delivered and installed in the client home. Our Crystal Dazzling Drapery Hardware may take up to 4 weeks from the date of order conformation, our Captivating Hardware collection may take up 2-3 weeks from the date order is confirmed, with exception of our stock program which items may be shipped within 2 days from date of the order conformation, our fabric orders are usually shipped the next day if they are in stock. Back orders on our fabrics from local mills may take up to 2 weeks before delivery, back orders from overseas may take up to 12 weeks and we require minimum of 20 yards to fulfill any back order from overseas.

Shipping+Delivery

We use UPS or FedEx to ship materials. There is a minimum ground freight and handling charge of $25.00 for any order up to 25 lbs. For air freight the minimum is 75.00 for any order up to $500.00 with $5.00 per additional pound. Please note that deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska can only be shipped via air. There is a minimum freight charge based on 100 lbs. to ship via motor freight. We have a 10% shipping and handling charge to cover our packing material and to help maintain the highest standard in packing. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are by air, so please add 20% to cover the additional cost of air freight. We generally ship via UPS, from the manufacturing facility located closest to you, but some items must be shipped by freight carrier because of their size.

Return policy:

Galaxy Design window treatment and drapery hardware are custom-crafted to fit a client specifications. For this reason they are not returnable for any reason other than a manufacturing defect covered by our warranty. At Galaxy Design we stand behind our quality of our fabrics being firs quality.

Some fabrics have flaws in them due to the manufacturing process and sometimes these flaws are to enhance the look of the texture. If fabrics are damaged they will be replaced at no charge and we will cover all the shipping and handling charges, it is customer responsibility to inspect fabric before cutting into the fabric. Galaxy Design fabrics are cut to measure, if customer changes his/her mind they are responsible for full amount of the invoice. If fabrics was not cut and shipped out as one piece they may be returned to us with a 30% restocking fee and the cost of shipping and handling,.

Home Accessories and Decorative Hardware.

We make every effort to ensure that items from our Catalogue arrive at their destination in perfect condition. However, all shipments should be inspected upon arrival and any damages must be reported to our office within 3 days so that we can file a claim with the shippers and arrange for replacement merchandise to be sent back out as soon as possible. Damaged cartons should be saved until the claim is settled. It is customers responsibility to contact the shipping company and file a complaint or claim on all damaged cartons or damaged goods, once this is done by our customer we will make all effort to make sure items are replaced immediately.
