Orders for Custom Draperies or Custom Bedding usually take between 8 and 12 weeks to process from the date the order is placed to the date it is delivered and installed in the client home. Our fine, catalogue line of "Exquisite Bedding", which is manufactured to order, may take up to 8 weeks from order placement to delivery.
Shipping+Delivery
We use UPS or FedEx to ship materials. There is a minimum ground freight and handling charge of $35.00 for any order up to 35 lbs. Thereafter we charge $5.00 per additional pound. For air freight the minimum is 75.00 for any order up to $500.00 with $5.00 per additional pound. Please note that deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska can only be shipped via air. Regretfully, we do not ship outside the United States and cannot ship to APO/FPO (explain these) addresses, Guam or Puerto Rico.
There is a minimum freight charge based on 100 lbs. to ship via motor freight. We have a 10% shipping and handling charge to cover our packing material and to help maintain the highest standard in packing.. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are by air, so please add 20% to cover the additional cost of air freight. We generally ship via UPS, from the manufacturing facility located closest to you, but some items must be shipped by freight carrier because of their size. Regretfully, we do not ship outside the United States and cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses, Guam or Puerto Rico.
Return policy:
Galaxy Design window treatments and bedding are custom-crafted to fit a client specifications. For this reason they are not returnable for any reason other than a manufacturing defect covered by our warranty. Home Accessories
We make every effort to ensure that items from our Home Accessories Catalogue arrive at their destination in perfect condition. However, all shipments should be inspected upon arrival and any damages reported to our office within 3 days so that we can file a claim with the shippers and arrange for replacement merchandise to be sent out as soon as possible. Damaged cartons should be saved until the claim is settled.
